James RodriguezReal Madrid stars James Rodriguez, Sergio Ramos and Marcelo are all set to miss the weekend’s high-profile clash against Atletico Madrid, Sky Sports has revealed.

Los Blancos enjoyed a hard-fought victory over Sevilla last night to move four points clear in the league standings, but the win came at a big cost.

Summer recruit James Rodriguez suffered a broken metatarsal and is now expected to miss around two months of action.

“After the tests carried out on James Rodriguez by the Real Madrid medical services at the Sanitas La Moraleja Hospital, he has been diagnosed with a fracture of the fifth metatarsal in his right foot,” a statement from Real Madrid read.

“The player will undergo surgery in the coming hours.”

Defenders Sergio Ramos and Marcelo will also miss the derby clash with Atletico, where los Blancos are 2.50 (3/2) to record a rare win at Vicente Calderon.

“Sergio had a hamstring problem,” manager Carlo Ancelotti said on the club website. “We cannot evaluate it yet. We must wait a few days.”
