Granada vs BarcelonaRelegation-threatened Granada will be looking to avoid a fourth successive league defeat when they host Barcelona, with the Catalans desperate for a morale-boosting victory following the disappointing Champions League exit.

Los Rojiblancos did pretty well to stay above the danger zone this season, but the latest poor run of results threatens to ruin everything they worked for this term.

After the run of seven points from three league games looked to be enough to secure their La Liga status, Granada suffered three straight defeats to return to the danger zone.

And while nobody expected them to avoid defeat at Vicente Calderon, losses to Levante and Malaga could prove costly in the final count.

As a result, Granada sit three points clear of the relegation zone with six games to go, but they are no less than 4.10 (31/10) to avoid defeat against Barcelona.

Boss Lucas Alcaraz has received some mixed news on injury front this week as Roberto and Fran Rico have resumed full training and Riki has been ruled out.

Meanwhile, important defender Bryan Angulo misses out through suspension, but Odion Ighalo is back after missing the Malaga game.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Roberto – Nyom, Ilori, Murillo, Foulquier – Iturra, Fatau – Piti, Fran Rico, Brahimi – El-Arabi.

This season could mark the end of an era for Barcelona and the club have just received the first major blow of the campaign.

Champions League elimination at the hands of Atletico Madrid could have a big effect on the outcome of the season, although the Catalans remain in the chase for two major trophies.

And while they are set to face bitter rivals Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey final, Tata Martino’s side also need to try and pip the two Madrid sides to the La Liga trophy.

That will be no easy task considering that they trail leaders Atletico by one point, although they are set to host los Colchoneros on the final day of the league campaign.

Meanwhile, Tata Martino will be looking for a response against sorry Granada, with Barcelona 1.29 (2/7) favourites to emerge victorious.

The Argentine coach is expected to make some changes to the side with a view to the Copa del Rey final clash against Real Madrid, and he is still without Victor Valdes, Jonathan Dos Santos, Gerard Pique and Isaac Cuenca.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Pinto – Alves, Mascherano, Bartra, Adriano – Xavi, Song, Iniesta – Pedro, Messi, Sanchez.
