Celta vs RealHaving already beaten Real Madrid in Copa del Rey this season, Celta Vigo will be hoping they can record another win against their more illustrious opponents and leave the relegation zone.

Boosted by the impressive victory at Old Trafford, los Blancos aim to keep the rich vein of form and triumph at Balaidos.

This was the season that Celta returned to the elite division after a five-absence, so no wonder La Liga survival was their main objective.

With the club signing several high-quality players in the summer, the Sky Blues looked really good in the opening exchanges, even if they often struggled to turn their domination into goals.

As the league campaign progressed, Celta slipped further down the league standings and they now find themselves in the bottom three with just 12 games to go.

The team couldn’t build on the important win over Granada as they were beaten 4-1 by Sevila last weekend, but they have no choice but to go for a win against Real Madrid.

After beating los Blancos in Copa del Rey earlier this season, Celta are 8.00 (7/1) with William Hill to beat Real for the second time in a row at their Balaidos.

Midfielder Natxo Insa will be out for two weeks after picking up a hamstring injury, but the good news full-back Roberto Lago has recovered from a bout of flu and is expected to start.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Varas – Jonny, Cabral, Demidov, Lago – Oubina, Alex Lopez – Fernandez, Bermejo, Orellana – Aspas.

What looked like a very disappointing season is quickly turning into a huge success, even if Real Madrid have long been out of the La Liga title race.

Los Blancos, nonetheless, managed to close the gap behind second-placed Atletico to just two points, while impressing in Copa del Rey and Champions League.

They beat Barcelona at Camp Nou to make it to Cup final, while beating Manchester United at Old Trafford to reach the Champions League quarter-finals.

The excellent run of results has significantly improved the atmosphere in the squad, which had been at an all time low just a couple of months back.

Los Blancos are now playing with a lot of confidence, so no wonder they are 1.45 (9/20) favourites at bet365 to record the fifth successive league win.

Angel Di Maria and Iker Casillas continue to miss out, while Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos face fitness tests after missing training on Friday with a bout of flu.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Lopez – Arbeloa, Pepe, Varane, Coentrao – Khedira, Alonso – Kaka, Ozil, Ronaldo – Higuain.
