HodgsonHaving resigned from his job with the Three Lions after a disappointing Euro 2016 campaign in France, former England manager Roy Hodgson is poised to make a return to the Premier League.

England have had a dismal spell at the 2016 European Championship in France and the supporters were inclined towards putting the blame on the experienced tactician for the poor displays by the Three Lions.

Following his resignation earlier in the summer Roy Hodgson has disappeared from the public eye, but is in line for a shock managerial return.

According to reports from Daily Mirror, the 69-year-old was offered a chance to return to West Bromwich Albion as former Baggies manager is being lined up as a possible replacement for under pressure Tony Pulis.

The Hawthorns club went through the Chinese takeover during summer, but the last couple of months have still been frustrating for the club and fans alike.

Baggies broke the club record for the transfer of Nacer Chadli, but the lack of overall transfer activity turned out to be a stumbling block in the relationship between Pulis and club management.

With Tony Pulis believed to be mooting his exit, Hodgson has been reportedly eyed for a return to club he previously managed prior to taking the England job.

West Bromwich Albion are currently at the middle of the standings in tenth with 4 points after three round of the new Premier League campaign.

Supporters are demanding improvements but there are serious doubts over the prospect of Roy Hodgson being the right man to take the club to pastures green.

Baggies return to club action this weekend with a trip to Bournemouth and Pulis’ men are looking at the betting odds of 4.1 (31/10) @BetVictor to emerge victorious from their trip to Dean Court.
