Feyenoord vs SevillaTwo-time Europa League (UEFA Cup) winners Feyenoord host current holders Sevilla in a battle for the first place in Group G.

Los Rojiblancos sit two points clear at the moment, but they could face a difficult task against their in-form opponents on Thursday evening.

Having seen a number of important players leave in the summer, Feyenoord failed to make it to the Champions League group stages, but their Europa League campaign has been going according to plan.

Fred Rutten’s side won home games against Standard Liege and HNK Rijeka to climb to second in the standings, but they cannot afford to relax just yet.

Having lost both away fixtures, Feyenoord sit mere two points clear of said teams and they are 3.00 (2/1) to extend the winning home run against Sevilla.

The De Kuip outfit have largely impressed on domestic stage of late, winning six of last seven games and only sharing spoils with Vitesse.

And with Feyenoord returning to winning ways against Dodrecht at the weekend, they clearly go into the Sevilla clash high on confidence.

Fred Rutten will have key midfielder Jordy Clasie back from suspension, but Luke Wilshire, Joris Mathijsen and Elvis Manu are out injured.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Vermeer – Karsdorp, van Beek, Kongolo, Nelom – Clasie, Immers, El Ahmadi – Toornstra, Kazim-Richards, Boetius.

Spanish giants Sevilla impressed to win the third Europa League trophy in eight years last season and they hope for another successful European campaign.

Los Rojiblancos enjoyed a very good start to the new La Liga campaign, but they have recently suffered a serious dip in form.

Sevilla have taken just one point from last three league fixtures, losing to Barcelona 5-1 at the weekend, and no wonder they will want to end the disappointing run against Feyenoord.

And with los Rojiblancos already defeating the Dutch side 2-0 in Spain, they can be backed at 2.55 (14/9) to claim maximum points at De Kuip.

Unai Emery has taken his strongest squad to Rotterdam, but Benoit Tremoulinas, Fernando Navarro, Vicente Iborra and Sebastian Cristoforo are out injured.

On top of that, the likes of Aleix Vidal and Timothee Kolodziejczak have been left out on account of tactical reasons.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Beto – Coke, Pareja, Carrico, Figueras – M’Bia, Krychowiak – Deulofeu, Suarez, Reyes – Gameiro.
