Saturdays’ Premier League action kicks off at Old Trafford where Manchester United face Newcastle United.

The Red Devils are one of four top flight teams to have taken maximum points from their opening two games and are looking to rack up nine from the first nine available for the first time in four years.

Marouane Fellaini, who scored the third goal in Tuesday’s 3-1 victory over Club Brugge, remains suspended in the league and Phil Jones remains absent with thrombosis.

Louis van Gaal has said that David De Gea will not be selected until the transfer window has closed so Sergio Romero is set to continue in goal.

Captain Wayne Rooney is favourite to get the first goal of the game at 4.5 (7/2) with Paddy Power while Memphis Depay, who opened his club account with a brace last time out is 6.0 (5/1) shot with Bet 365.

The home win can be backed at a 1.4 (2/5) with a variety of firms, with the visitors 9.5 (17/2) with Bet Victor. The draw is widely available at 5.0 (4/1).

Newcastle have taken just one point so far, and have won just one of their last thirteen Premier League fixture and have won just once on the road since last November.

New signing Florian Thauvin could make his debut though Daryl Janmaat is suspended after being dismissed in last weekend’s defeat to Swansea City.

Moussa Sissoko, Sylvain Marveaux, Emmanuel Riviere, Curtis Good and Paul Dummet are all side-lined though Siem De Jong should recover from a knock in time to be considered for selection.

Pappis Cisse is 12.0 (11/1) to open the scoring, with Aleksander Mitrovic a 13.0 (12/1) chance with Betfred.

Manchester United won both of the meetings between the sides last season, with the meeting at Old Trafford ending in a 3-1 home win.

William Hill offer 3.0 (2/1) for there to be four or more goals scored this time around, while a home win with both teams scoring in the game can be backed at a price of 3.4 (12/5) with 888 Sport.
