Saturday’s Premier League action concludes at Anfield, where Liverpool host Crystal Palace.

The Reds drew 1-1 with champions Chelsea last weekend, though the result all but ended their hopes of qualifying for next seasons Champions League.

Victory here will however ensure that they finish in the top six, and so be in next season’s Europa League, though that may have already been confirmed earlier in the day with Southampton playing Aston Villa and lunchtime and Tottenham Hotspur hosting Hull City at 3 o’clock.

The hosts will be without injured trio Daniel Sturridge, Jon Flanagan and Mamadou Sakho, while captain Steven Gerrard will start at Anfield for the final time ahead of his summer move to the MLS.

The 34 year old, who will be given a guard of honour ahead of kick-off, is 8.0 (7/1) to get the first goal of the game with Ladbrokes, with Mario Balotelli favourite at 6.5 (11/2) with Paddy Power.

The home win is 1.5 (1/2) with a number of bookmakers, with the visitors widely available at 8.0 (7/1). The draw can be backed at 4.75 (15/4) with Bet 365.

Alan Pardew’s men have lost their last four games, but have no fears of relegation with two games left to play.

They need to avoid defeat here if they are to amass a higher points total than their previous Premier League best of forty-five, with their season ending at home to Swansea City next week.

Jason Puncheon could be recalled to the starting line-up after coming off the bench and scoring at Old Trafford last weekend, while a number of youth players are expected to be involved.

Glenn Murray is priced at 10.0 (9/1) to open the scoring with Bet 365, with Dwight Gayle a 12.0 (11/1) chance with the same firm.

Palace ran out 3-1 winners when the sides met in the reverse fixture at Selhurst Park back in November, while they also met there in the fifth round of the FA Cup, when Liverpool secured a 2-1 victory.

In fact, both sides have scored in seven of the last eight clashes, and they can be backed at 1.92 (11/12) with 888 Sport to do so this time around.
