Sunday’s Premier League action kicks off at the Emirates Stadium where Arsenal face Aston Villa.

The Gunners went in to the weekend just a point of the top four, having won four of their last five league games while they beat Brighton Hove Albion to book their place in the fifth round of the FA Cup last time out.

Arsene Wenger is unlikely to risk top scorer Alexis Sanchez who has a hamstring strain, while Alex Oxlade Chamberlain and Danny Welbeck aren’t quite ready to return and Jack Wilshere, Abou Diaby, Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Debuchy are all long term absentees.

Olivier Giroud is 4.5 (7/2) to open the scoring with Bet 365, with Theo Walcott a 7.0 (6/1) chance with the same firm.

The home win is widely available at 1.29 (2/7), with the visitors as highly priced as 14.0 (13/1) on offer from 888 Sport. The draw is 7.0 (6/1) with most firms.

Villa beat Championship leaders Bournemouth in their FA Cup fourth round tie last time out – a result which came after back to back league defeats.

They failed to score in both of those losses, and have netted just eleven goals in their twenty-two league matches so far. Only Derby County, with ten in the 2006/07 campaign have a worse record in the history of the division.

They began the weekend just two points above the bottom three, though victory here could see them move to as high as twelfth place should other results fall in their favour.

Fabian Delph and Gabriel Agbonlahor are set to return from respective Achilles and hamstring problems, while Scott Sinclair is likely to make his debut after signing on loan from Manchester City.

The former Swansea City man is 26.0 (25/1) to get the first goal of the game with Bet Victor, while Christian Benteke can be backed at 13.0 (12/1) with a number of bookmakers.

Arsene Wenger’s men won the reverse fixture at Villa Park back in September by three goals to nil, and with Villa so lacklustre in front of goal at present, you may be tempted to back the hosts to win without conceding at 3.75 (11/4) with 888 Sport.
