Mexico vs BosniaFollowing the 3-1 triumph over Ecuador, Mexico continue their World Cup preparations by facing in-form Bosnia at Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois.

Meanwhile, the Dragons impressed in their first warm-up game to record a 2-1 triumph over Ivory Coast, and they hope for a good result against El Tri as well.

Mexico did well to not only qualify for the past five World Cups, but also managed to progress from the group stage at every one of those tournaments, albeit falling at the very next hurdle.

This means El Tri will give their best to at least reach the quarter-finals this time out, but it is clear they will not have an easy task.

Mexico will be facing hosts Brazil, Croatia and Cameroon in Group A, and they are 2.38 (11/8) to make it to the Last 16 stage.

El Tri have suffered several major blows of late as important players Angel Medina and Luis Montes ruled out of the World Cup, with winger Javier Aquino called as a replacement.

And even with veteran defender Rafa Marquez doubtful for the Bosnia game, Mexico have been made 2.30 (13/10) favourites to emerge victorious.

El Tri recorded 3-0 and 3-1 wins over Israel and Ecuador in their first two warm-up games to prove they are in a very good form at the moment.

Probable starting line-up (5-3-2): Talavera – Salcido, F. Rodriguez, Reyes, Moreno, Guardado – Herrera, Vazquez, Fabian – Hernandez, dos Santos.

Bosnia-Hercegovina are bracing themselves for their first ever appearance at a major tournament and the first signs have been very positive.

The Dragons enjoyed a 2-1 triumph in weekend’s friendly against Ivory Coast, with Manchester City star Edin Dzeko scoring a brace to keep the rich vein of form.

There have been some problems for boss Safet Susic as well as he removed defender Ervin Zukanovic from the final squad after the player criticized the FA for failing to secure him a US Visa.

On top of that, Asmir Begovic, Sead Kolasinac, Emir Spahic and Ognjen Vranjes all picked up knocks against Ivory Coast, but it has been revealed they have fully recovered from their ailments.

And with Ermin Bicakcic stepping up his recovery from injury, Bosnia are available at 3.40 (12/5) to defeat Mexico in Chicago.

Boss Safet Susic is expected to make several changes to the starting line-up, with Senad Lulic and Vedad Ibisevic pushing for starting places.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-1-2): Begovic – Mujdza, Spahic, Vranjes, Kolasinac – Lulic, Besic, Pjanic – Misimovic – Dzeko, Ibisevic.
