Tuesday’s World Cup action in Natal sees Italy play Uruguay in a battle to see who from Group D will join Costa Rica in the knockout stages of the competition.

The Italians lost to the CONCACAF side on Thursday to leave their hopes of qualification in the balance, though a draw will be enough for them here due to their superior goal difference.

Paris Saint Germain midfielder Marco Veratti was left out of the starting line-up last time out but may be recalled by Cesare Prandelli, who has no injury concerns ahead of the game.

Mario Balotelli is 7.0 (6/1) with Bet Victor to get the first goal of the game, while Claudio Marchisio is a 17.0 (16/1) shot with a variety of bookmakers.

Italy are favourites to take all three points at 2.8 (9/5) with Bet 365, who price Uruguay at 3.3 (23/10). The draw is a 2.88 (15/8) chance with Coral.

Uruguay bounced back from their shock defeat to Costa Rica with a 2-1 win over England on Thursday, and they will make it out of the group with another victory here.

Captain Diego Lugano missed the game in Sao Paolo with a knee injury and is unlikely to be fit in time to feature, while Luis Suarez is set to continue leading the line after his match winning display against Roy Hodgson’s men.

The Liverpool forward is unsurprisingly favourite to open the scoring at 6.0 (5/1) with Bet 365, while Edinson Cavani can be backed at 8.0 (7/1) with Bet Victor.

The sides last met in the third place play-off in last summer’s Confederations Cup, with Italy winning on penalties after the match finished 2-2 after extra time.

Two of the four meetings prior to that clash in Salvador twelve months ago also finished all square with each side also boasting one win a piece.

With this in mind, you may be tempted to back the draw here whilst more specifically, the 1-1 scoreline is widely available at a price of 7.0 (6/1).
