The World Cup round of sixteen kicks off in Belo Horizonte on Saturday as host nation Brazil take on Chile, with South American opposition awaiting the winners in the quarter-finals as Uruguay taking on Colombia later in the day.

Luiz Felipe Scolari’s men go in to the game having taken seven points from their three group games, beating Croatia and Cameroon either side of a goalless draw with Mexico, and the man who guided his country to success in South Korea and Japan twelve years ago has a fully fit squad to choose from.

Star man Neymar, who has scored four times so far and currently leads the race for the Golden Boot along with Barcelona teammate Lionel Messi, is favourite to open the scoring with a number of firms offering a price of 4.5 (7/2) ahead of Fluminese forward Fred, who is a 7.0 (6/1) chance with Bet Victor.

Brazil are odds on to win the match in ninety minutes at 1.62 (8/13) with most bookmakers, with Chile as highly priced as the 6.25 (21/4) on offer from Bet Victor, who offer 4.2 (16/5) for the draw.

Chile’s 100% start to the tournament ended in Sao Paolo on Monday with defeat to the Netherlands, though their wins against Australia and Spain saw them make it through a difficult group B.

Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal is manager Jorge Luis Sampaoli’s only injury concern ahead of the game as he continues to struggle with a knee injury.

Talisman Alexis Sanchez is priced at 10.0 (9/1) with Bet 365 to get the first goal of the game, with Eduardo Vargas an 11.0 (10/1) shot with the same firm.

Brazil are unbeaten in their last twelve meetings with Chile whose last win in this fixture came in August 2000, in a qualifier for the 2002 World Cup.

Each of the last nine clashes have seen the five time World Champions score at least twice, so you may be tempted to take advantage of Sky Bet’s offer of 1.62 (8/13) for them to do so this time around, while Coral have a price of 3.5 (5/2) for Brazil to win with both teams scoring in the game.
