The fallen giants of French and English football are hoping to continue the good run in Europe after largely struggling on domestic stage.

Having kept hold of star players Lucho Gonzalez, Loic Remy, Mathieu Valbuena and Andre Ayew, Marseille were expected to mount a serious title challenge in French Ligue 1, especially after also signing several very good players in the summer.

However, Didier Deschamps’ men have been utterly disappointing on domestic level, picking up just three points from first six league games, so no wonder everybody at the club are wondering what is going on at the moment.

Despite winning just one out of nine league games, OM managed to record impressive Champions League wins over Olympiakos and Borussia Dortmund, meaning that another win would see them make a giant step towards the knockout stages.

With the players very motivated to return to the right track as soon as possible, you should know that Stan James pays 2.38 (11/8) on home win.

Rod Fanni and Jordan Ayew miss out through suspension, whereas Stephane M’Bia and Djimi Traore remain sidelined.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Mandanda – Azpilicueta, Diawara, N’Koulou, Morel – Gonzalez, Diarra, Cheyrou – Valbuena, Remy, A. Ayew.

Arsenal are slowly improving following a disastrous start to the season, with four wins in last five games proving the Gunners are back on track.

The only problem is that all four wins were recorded at their Emirates, whereas the Gunners boast a 1-2-3 record on the travels this term.

Having brought one point from the difficult away game against Borussia Dortmund, Arsenal are hoping to avoid defeat in Marseille as well, since that would mean they remain in a good position to qualify from this group.

Should they happen to win their game at Velodrome, the Gunners will become favourites for the first place in the group, so odds of 2.15 (23/20) offered by Unibet on Arsenal to win Group F do look tempting.

Defensive worries remain the order of the day as Thomas Vermaelen and Bacary Sagna continue to miss out, whereas Kieran Gibbs and Aaron Ramsey are injury doubts.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Szczesny – Jenkinson, Koscielny, Mertesacker, Santos – Rosicky, Song, Arteta – Walcott, Van Persie, Gervinho.
