Real Madrid vs SevillaCarlo Ancelotti will be looking for a response from his men following the 2-1 defeat in El Clasico that left Real Madrid six points adrift of leaders Barcelona.

Meanwhile, Sevilla hope to pour more misery on los Blancos and extend their unbeaten run to eight matches in all competitions.

For the second season running, Real Madrid have allowed their arch rivals Barcelona to create a significant advantage at the top of the standings early into the season.

Following the El Clasico defeat, los Blancos not only sit six points behind the Catalans, but also trail local rivals Atletico by five points, meaning they are in all sorts of problems at the moment.

Carlo Ancelotti has got to take part of the blame for the loss at Camp Nou, having played Gareth Bale from the start and handed Sergio Ramos a central midfield role, but the Italian and his players now need to look ahead and forget all about the costly defeat.

Next up for them is Sevilla, one of league’s worst travellers, but also a team that have the potential to hurt the wounded lion that is Real Madrid.

This is why odds of 1.22 (2/9) offered on home win at Paddy Power are not exactly tempting. Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo is 1.35 (7/20) to score at anytime.

Sergio Ramos is likely to miss out with a muscle problem, but Xabi Alonso could finally make his first appearance of the season.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Lopez – Arbeloa, Varane, Pepe, Coentrao – Modric, Illarramendi – Bale, Isco, Ronaldo – Benzema.

After seeing a number of key players leave the club over the last two transfer windows, Sevilla were predicted a very difficult campaign.

Nevertheless, in spite of the busy schedule in the early exchanges and numerous changes to the playing squad, los Rojiblancos had a decent start to the season and they continue to raise their form.

Sevilla have now picked up no less than 11 points from last five league fixtures, while virtually securing their place in the Europa League knockout stages.

And even though los Rojiblancos face an uphill task at the Bernabeu, both teams to score bet should be considered at 1.75 (3/4).

Juan Cala returns to the side from suspension, but Federico Fazio, Marko Marin, Piotr Trochowski, Denis Cheryshev and Cicinho are out injured.

Sevilla are still winless on the road this season (D3 L2), but they probably wouldn’t mind bringing one point back from Santiago Bernabeu.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Beto – Figueras, Carrico, Pareja, Moreno – M’Bia, Cala – Samperio, Rakitic, Vitolo – Gameiro.
