Real Madrid vs Real SociedadHaving secured the first place in their Champions League group, Real Madrid will be aiming to continue their winning run in La Liga when they host Real Sociedad.

La Real have finally returned to the right track following a disappointing start to the season and the goalless draw with Manchester United should keep them in good stead for the trip to Santiago Bernabeu.

Real Madrid may have been criticized for some under-par performances in the opening exchanges, but it appears things are slowly falling into place.

With the players getting to grips with new boss Carlo Ancelotti, los Blancos continue to raise their performances, with two players especially impressive.

And while Cristiano Ronaldo’s amazing form is hardly a surprise, Real Madrid fans must have been delighted to see summer signing Gareth Bale finally proving what he is capable off.

This has seen los Blancos score no less than 12 goals in last three fixtures in all competitions, with Real now just 1.57 (4/7) to score three or more. Meanwhile, home win is available at 1.15 (3/20).

Cristiano Ronaldo and Pepe have shaken off minor knocks and will be in contention for starting places, but Fabio Coentrao remains sidelined.

Carlo Ancelotti is expected to make some changes to the side that earned a 2-2 draw against Juventus in midweek.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Lopez – Carvajal, Ramos, Varane, Marcelo – Alonso, Illarramendi, Di Maria – Bale, Benzema, Ronaldo.

Real Sociedad proved unprepared for Champions League football after achieving their biggest success in recent years, with European matches taking the wind out of their sails in La Liga.

A nine-match winless run in all competitions finally came to an end as La Real defeated last year’s top 4 rivals Valencia at Mestalla, and that match could prove to be the turning point of their season.

Real Sociedad may have lost the very next game, having suffered a 1-0 defeat to Old Trafford, but they have since been in impressive form.

While winning home games against Almeria and Osasuna in style, La Real brought one point from Valladolid before giving a good account of themselves in the goalless draw with Manchester United.

And with Jagoba Arrasate’s men brimming with confidence at the moment, both teams to score bet needs to be considered at 1.75 (3/4).

Jagoba Arrasate has no fresh injury worries, but Diego Ifran, Esteban Granero and Dani Estrada continue to miss out.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Bravo – C. Martinez, M. Gonzalez, I. Martinez, De La Bella – Pardo, Bergara – Vela, Prieto, Griezmann – Seferovic.
