Jack Wilshere has said that he does not know if he will be at Bournemouth next season.

Wilshere is out of contract at Bournemouth at the end of June.

The 29-year-old former Arsenal and West Ham United midfielder joined the Championship club on a free transfer in the January transfer window until this summer.

The English midfielder made nine starts and six substitute appearances in the Championship for the Cherries, scoring one goal and providing one assist in the process.

Wilshere helped Bournemouth reach the Championship playoffs, but Jonathan Woodgate’s side could not progress to the final.

Bournemouth lost 3-2 on aggregate to Brentford in the Championship playoff semi-finals.

The Bees are now rated at 15/2 by Betfair to win the final 2-1 against Swansea City.

The Englishman wrote on Instagram: “Thank you to everyone @officialafcb for the last five months. My teammates, All the staff and especially the fans. You were amazing last time and continued to support me this time. Being honest, i don’t know if this is the end. The coming weeks will tell. Unfortunately we didn’t reach our goal of promotion but there is plenty of positives and experience to take into next year to get this club back where it belongs! Have a good summer 🍒❤🍒”
