Juve vs LazioHaving lost to bottom-placed Parma last time out, Juventus will want to return to the right track when they host red-hot Lazio.

The Biancocelesti climbed to second after recording eight wins in a row and they arrive in Turin brimming with confidence.

This could easily prove to be one of the most successful seasons in recent years for Juventus, seeing as the team are still in the running for three major trophies.

In spite of the shock defeat to Parma, the Serie A title is already in the bag, while the Bianconeri will be vying Lazio for the Coppa Italia trophy.

Juventus have also managed to reach the closing stages of the Champions League and they are in a good position to qualify for the semis after the 1-0 win over Monaco in the first leg.

Max Allegri’s side will now want to gain psychological advantage over Lazio ahead of their Coppa Italia clash, so bear in mind that home win pays 1.95 (19/20).

Andrea Pirlo is expected to keep his place in the side after proving his fitness against Monaco, while Andrea Barzagli should start as well.

Angelo Ogbonna misses out through suspension, whereas Paul Pogba, Martin Caceres, Kwadwo Asamoah and Romulo remain on the sidelines.

Probable starting line-up (3-5-2): Buffon – Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini – Padoin, Pereyra, Pirlo, Vidal, Evra – Tevez, Morata.

Lazio chiefs had high hopes ahead of the current season having properly reinforced the squad in the summer, but not too many people expected the Biancocelesti to play an important role this term.

And while new coach Stefano Pioli needed a while to rebuild the squad, once the process was complete, his side started playing amazing football.

Even if it looked as though Lazio would not be able to mount a serious top 3 challenge, the Stadio Olimpico outfit defied the odds by winning eight straight Serie A games to climb to second position.

As a result, they have now virtually secured Champions League qualification, while a possible Coppa Italia win would be an added bonus.

Lazio do plan to challenge the Serie A trophy next term and they are 4.60 (18/5) to defeat holders Juventus on the road.

Dusan Basta, Mauricio and Federico Marchetti all return to the side, but Marco Parolo and Stefan de Vrij are injured and Diego Novaretti and Luis Cavanda are banned.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Marchetti – Basta, Mauricio, Cana, Braafheid – Cataldi, Biglia, Lulic – Candreva, Klose, Anderson.
