High-flying Udinese are hoping to return to winning ways following the disappointing defeat to Parma, whereas Roma want to finally beat one top side after recording back to back wins over Novara and Lecce.

Udinese were expected to experience some problems after the departure of Alexis Sanchez, Gokhan Inler and Cristian Zapata, but that did not happen.

Boss Francesco Guidolin managed to rebuild the squad in no time, with the Zebrette even climbing to the top of the Serie A standings in the early stage of the season.

The Friulani did take just one point from two games against the title rivals, but were thoroughly impressive in all other matches, although last weekend’s defeat to Parma could be a sign that they are slowing down a bit.

Nevertheless, Udinese have been simply outstanding at their Friuli, winning their last seven games at home, so odds of 2.30 (13/10) offered by Victor Chandler on home win may be worth a shot.

Apart from Paulo Barreto, who is still recovering from injury, Francesco Guidolin has a fully fit squad to choose from.

Probable starting line-up (3-5-2): Handanovic – Benatia, Danilo, Domizzi – Basta, Isla, Pinzi, Asamoah, Armero – Di Natale, Floro Flores.

In spite of the heavy investment in the playing squad, Roma largely struggled at the start to the season, with many believing Luis Enrique might not be the best option on the bench.

However, as the season unfolded, the Giallorossi kept raising their game, with back to back victories over Novara and Lecce helping them climb to the fifth place in the standings.

Roma now sit five points adrift of leaders Juventus, while they still have a lot of room for improvement, so maybe this is the right time to back the Giallorossi to achieve a top 3 finish at odds of 4.50 (7/2) offered by Bet365.

Jose Enrique’s side have been far from impressive on the travels this season, but they still managed to pick up 7 points from 5 away games, and at odds of 3.40 (12/5) offered by Victor Chandler, backing Roma to win this one may not be such a bad idea.

Francesco Totti returns to the starting line-up after recovering from injury, but David Pizarro is doubtful. Fabio Borini and Nicolas Burdisso remain sidelined.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-1-2): Stekelenburg – Rosi, Kjaer, Heinze, Taddei – De Rossi, Gago, Pjanic – Totti – Osvaldo, Lamela.
