Struggling Sevilla are in for a difficult task as they welcome mighty Barcelona to Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, but los Rojiblancos certainly aim to make life difficult for Barca.

After losing to Athletic Bilbao, the direct competitors for the European places, Sevilla sit in 8th place in the standings, three points adrift of los Leones.

Boss Gregorio Manzano faces certain selection problems as Andres Palop and Diego Perotti are major injury doubts, while Julien Escude is banned for this clash.

Luis Fabiano has just signed a long-term deal with Sao Paulo, thus putting an end to his five-year stint at Sevilla.

Barcelona continue to make giant strides towards the La Liga title and after winning their last four games, the Catalans are now seven points clear of Real Madrid.

Pep Guardiola’s side overcame a very good Arsenal side in the Champions League despite being under tremendous pressure following the defeat in the first leg and things are definitely looking up.

Apart from Carles Puyol, all players took part in Friday’s training session, meaning that Guardiola will have nearly full squad to choose from, although he is likely to make a couple of changes to the starting line-up.

Barcelona are 1.40 (2/5) to win the game at William Hill, whereas Sevilla are 2.80 (9/5) not to lose at Sportingbet.
