Roma and Napoli enter Derby del Sole in different mood, with the hosts looking to stop their descend down the Serie A standings, while the Partneopei hope to continue the impressive run that saw them close the gap behind leaders Milan to three points.

Following the 5:3 defeat to Inter, Roma simply have to win this game if they are to stay in contention for the Champions League place, but Claudio Ranieri faces a real defensive headache.

With both Philippe Mexes and Nicolas Burdisso suspended, the boss is likely to use Daniele De Rossi as en emergency defender, but the good news is that Francesco Totti returns to the side.

High-flying Napoli sit just three points behind leaders Milan after beating Cesena at home, and they are hoping to produce another upset and keep their title hopes alive.

With Michele Pazienza back after serving a ban, Walter Mazzarri will have nearly full squad to choose from, but he is expected to make numerous changes to the side that beat Cesena.

Hugo Campanaro and Paolo Cannavaro will form the defensive trio with Salvatore Aronica, while Dossena and Maggio will occupy the wing positions.

Gargano and Pazienza are set to start in midfield, with Lavezzi, Hamsik and Cavani again forming the attacking trident.

Roma are 2.25 (5/4) to win the game at Bet365, while there is a real value on Napoli seeing away win pays 3.40 (12/5). The price on draw is 3.10 (21/10).
