Scotland vs IrelandHaving done well to earn a 1-1 draw against the Netherlands, Republic of Ireland will be hoping for a perfect Euro 2016 send-off when they play host to Belarus.

Sbornaya were hammered by Northern Ireland last Friday, so they will definitely be looking to show some improvement at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.

Republic of Ireland did really well to progress from a difficult Euro 2016 Qualifying group and they booked their ticket to France by defeating Bosnia-Herzegovina in the play-offs.

The Green Army have since been placed in Group E alongside Sweden, Belgium and Italy, but they are not giving up without a fight and everything suggests they will go to the tournament finals in good mood.

The Irish extended their unbeaten run at home to 12 matches as they shared spoils with the Netherlands, with Shane Long’s goal canceled out late in the game by Luuk de Jong.

Ireland now hope to record a comfortable win over minnows Belarus and they are 2.50 (3/2) for a half-time/full-time win.

This will be the final opportunity for the players to secure their place in the final squad, and the manager is expected to make some changes.

Shane Long is unlikely to be risked as he battles a knee problem, with Robbie Keane widely expected to replace him in the side.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Given – Coleman, Keogh, O’Shea, Brady – Arter, Gibson – McClean, Hoolahan, McGeady – Keane.

Belarus have enjoyed mixed fortunes at the start of the 21st century, but despite showing some promise, they were unable to seriously close the gap behind top European sides.

Sbornaya had a perfect finish to the Euro 2016 Qualifying, defeating Luxembourg and Slovakia before sharing spoils with FYR Macedonia, and they have since continued with promising results.

Belarus played out goalless draws vs Armenia and Montenegro in March friendlies, but they then succumbed to a 3-0 loss to Northern Ireland last Friday.

And while their back line looked pretty good before the game in Belfast, Sbornaya have now failed to score a single goal in last four matches.

Even so, coach Aleksandr Khatskevich continues to overlook star striker Vitali Rodionov, while other top striker Sergei Kornilenko is sidelined through injury.

The likes of Roman Begunov, Stanislaw Drahun and Syarhey Balanovich are injured as well, whereas Renan Bressan and Timofei Kalachev have been left out.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Gorbunov – Shitov, Martynovich, Filipenko, Volodko – Korzun, Kislyak – Gordeychuk, Krivets, Stasevich – Yanush.
