Fourth-placed Lazio can make a real statement by beating high-flying Udinese, but, one way or another, the fans at Olimpico should witness a great game of football.

Having just secured their place in the Europa League knockout stages, where they will face none other than Atletico Madrid, the Biancocelesti can now fully focus on their Serie A campaign.

After the home defeat to Juventus ended their nine-match unbeaten run in Serie A, Lazio managed to revive their title hopes with back to back victories over relegation strugglers Novara and Lecce.

Edy Reja’s side now need to prove their worth against title rivals Udinese, with odds of 2.25 (5/4) offered by Ladbrokes proving that online bookmakers see the hosts as favourites in this clash.

Andre Dias, Lorik Cana and Matuzalem are available again, but neither of the trio is expected in the starting line-up.

Stefan Radu and Abdoulay Konko remain injury doubts, but Stefano Mauri, Federico Marchetti, Luciano Zauri, Christian Brocchi and Alessandro Berardi are definitely out.

Probable starting line-up (3-4-1-2): Bizzarri – Stankevicius, Diakite, Biava – Cavanda, Gonzalez, Ledesma, Lulic – Hernanes – Klose, Rocchi.

Udinese, too, have successfully qualified for the Europa League knockout stages, where they are set to face very good PAOK side.

The Zebrette managed to pick up one point in their final group game against Celtic that proved enough for qualification despite the fact that Francesco Guidolin had once again fielded a weakened line-up.

It was the rotation policy deployed throughout their European campaign that helped Udinese produce some amazing performances in Serie A, with 30 points from 14 league games proving that the gaffer was spot on in his decisions.

After winning their last three league games and five of last six, the Friulani will fancy their chances against injury-plagued Lazio, so at 3.75 (11/4) offered by Victor Chandler, away win looks like a value bet here.

Damiano Feronetti, Mauricio Isla, Giampero Pinzi and Antonio Floro Flores are set to return after being rested against Celtic, but Mauricio Domizzi is doubtful and Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu is injured.

Probable starting line-up (3-5-1-1): Handanovic – Benatia, Danilo, Feronetti – Basta, Isla, Pinzi, Asamoah, Armero – Floro Flores – Di Natale.
