The Serie A giants enter the derby game in different mood with Milan making a giant step towards the title by beating Napoli and Juventus losing their second consecutive game.

The Old Lady slipped further down the standings after losing at home to Bologna, with the atmosphere in the club at an all time low.

There is no doubt the derby win over Milan would help the Bianconeri kick-start their season, but that doesn’t look very likely at the moment.

Gigi Del Neri faces major selection problems with Sissoko and Aquilani joining Grosso, Salihamidzic, Rinaudo, De Ceglie and Quagliarella on injury list, whereas Pepe serves a one-match ban.

Giorgio Chiellini should be fit to play, while Frederik Sorensen returns to the starting line-up.

Milan are slowly closing in on the Serie A title, with the comprehensive victory over Napoli seeing them go five points clear at the top.

The Rossoneri are now looking to continue their rich vein of form and take advantage of Juventus’ worries, with odds of 2.62 (13/8) offered on away win looking very tempting.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic should be fit to play despite picking up an injury in training, whereas Kevin-Prince Boateng will replace Mathieu Flaimini in the centre of the park.

Pato is set to be preferred to Antonio Cassano, but Pirlo, Inzaghi, Bonera, Ambrosini and Antonini remain on the sidelines.
