Hamburg vs BayernHamburg are in such a difficult position that they need to try and beat mighty Bayern in order to avoid relegation to the second division.

And while the Bavarians have secured another league title long time ago, they will be desperate to make amends for the embarrassing loss to Real Madrid.

This season has been going from bad to worse for Hamburg and they are in danger of getting relegated for the first time in 50 years.

The Red Shorts were unable to escape the bottom three despite the arrival of Mirko Slomka, although, in all fairness, numerous injuries to the playing squad certainly hindered their progress.

Despite losing last three league fixtures, Hamburg still sit in the relegation play-off place, but with both Nurnberg and Braunschweig playing at home, the Imtech Arena outfit could be in real danger of getting relegated unless they can pick up at least one point from the Bayern clash.

That is clearly easier said than done, but the return of Rafa van der Vaart could be just the boost they need ahead of such an important game.

And with Hamburg still scoring goals on regular basis, you should know both teams to score pays 1.55 (5/9) at Unibet.

Jacques Zoua is the latest player to have picked up an injury, whilst Djourou, Lam, Rajkovic, Sobiech, Arslan, Beister and Lasogga are unavailable as well.

Probable starting line-up (4-4-1-1): Adler – Diekmeier, Westermann, Mancienne, Jansen – Jiracek, Badelj, Rincon, Ilicevic – van der Vaart – Calhanoglu.

Despite winning the Bundesliga title with seven games to spare, Bayern have yet to make this season a success.

The Bavarians did qualify for the DFB Pokal final, but the disappointing exit from the Champions League could prove very costly.

And while Bayern were always going to have a difficult task of qualifying for the second successive final, it was the manner in which they suffered a 5-0 aggregate defeat to Real Madrid that made even some club chiefs turn against Pep Guardiola.

The Spaniard now needs to try and finish the season in the best possible way and no doubt he will be demanding a response from his players at Imtech Arena.

Even if the Bavarians haven’t been too impressive on their travels of late, Bayern look a good bet at 1.40 (2/5) to pour more misery on Hamburg.

With Badstuber, Shaqiri, Thiago and Rafinha unavailable, the boss is unlikely to make wholesale changes to his starting line-up.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Neuer – Lahm, Boateng, Dante, Alaba – Martinez, Schweinsteiger – Robben, Muller, Ribery – Mandzukic.
