Wednesday’s game at the Estadio Mineirao sees hosts Brazil face Uruguay in the first of the 2013 Confederations Cup semi-finals.

Brazil go in to the game having won all three of their group games, the latest of those victories coming against Italy at the weekend.

Manager Luiz Felipe Scolari has a fully fit squad to choose from, with Paulinho, David Luiz and Bernard all recovering from their respective knocks.

Star player Neymar is their top scorer having netted in each of the group games, and is widely available at 5.0 (4/1) to get the first goal of the game, while Fred and Jo, who have both hit two in the tournament so far, are priced at 6.0 (5/1) and 7.0 (6/1) respectively with Paddy Power.

Brazil are favourites to reach the final in ninety minutes, with a price of (4/11) offer by most firms, while Uruguay are an 8.5 (15/2) shot with William Hill. Bet Victor offer odds of 5.4 (22/5) for the game to go to extra time.

Oscar Tarabez’s side finished second in Group B, with their only defeat coming to European and World champions Spain in their opening game.

They are set to recall a number of first team players who were rested for the 8-0 demolition of Tahiti last time out.

Luis Suarez, who scored twice on Sunday despite playing for just twenty minutes, taking his tournament tally to three, is 11.5 (21/2) with Bet Victor to score first, with Edinson Cavani available at 13.0 (12/1) with the same firm.

With such an array of attacking talent on display, you may be tempted to take advantage of Bet Victor’s offer of 2.55 (31/20) for there to be four or more goals in the game.

If you think the sides will cancel each other out in normal time, Sporting Bet offer 7.5 (13/2) that the match will be won in extra time, and 8.5 (15/2) for it to be won on penalties.

However, the last time the two sides met proved to be incredibly one sided, with the Brazilians running out 4-0 winners in a World Cup qualifier in Montevideo back in 2009 to extend their unbeaten run against the Uruguayan’s to six games.
