Aris vs Manchester City preview

The Europa League resumes with what should be a very entertaining game at sold out Kleanthis Vikelidis Stadium in Thessaloniki.

There is no doubt the home fans will create an amazing atmosphere as always, which should help Aris match their more illustrious opponents.

New coach Yiannis Mihalitsios, who’s just taken over from Hector Cuper, should field the similar line-up to that which lost to Olympiakos at the weekend, although first choice keeper, Michalis Sifakis should return to the starting line-up.

Koke and Raul Bobadilla should continue in attack, with Nery Castillo waiting for his chance from the bench.

Following the derby defeat to Manchester United, the Citizens are hoping a good result against Aris will help them return some of the lost confidence.

Roberto Mancini is likely to make changes to the starting line-up, so we can expect Edin Dzeko, Patrick Vieira and Shaun Wright-Phillips in the starting line-up.

Mario Balotelli and Nigel De Jong are still at least a week away from making their return, just like Adam Johnson.

City are 1.67 (2/3) to win the game at Paddy Power, although we believe there is bigger value in backing Aris not to lose at 2.20 (6/5) offered by William Hill.
