Wolfsburg vs LilleWolfsburg will be looking to make amends for the disappointing defeat to Everton when they host Lille in the second group game as well as continue the good home run.

Meanwhile, les Dogues were held to a 1-1 draw at home by FK Krasnodar, but they go into the match in good spirits having defeated Bastia at the weekend.

Wolfsburg seem to be paying the price for having so many quality players in the squad seeing as how most key players are still struggling for form after playing an important role at the 2014 World Cup.

As a result, the Wolves have been terribly inconsistent in the opening exchanges, winning just two of eight matches in all competitions.

And while home wins over Bayer Leverkusen and Werder Bremen saw the team get their Bundesliga campaign back on track, Dieter Hecking’s side desperately need to show some improvement in Europe.

After suffering an embarrassing 4-1 defeat to Everton at Goodison Park, the Wolves can be backed at 1.75 (3/4) to defeat Lille at Volkswagen Arena.

Having completely outclassed Werder Bremen at the weekend, the hosts will be in confident mood, especially with Sebastian Jung likely to be available after recovering from a muscle problem.

The game comes too soon for Christian Trasch, who is set to resume training, while Maximilian Arnold and Paul Seguin are also out.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Benaglio – Jung, Naldo, Knoche, Rodriguez – Gustavo, Guilavogui – Perisic, Hunt, de Bruyne – Olic.

Having failed to reach the Champions League group stages, Lille continued their European campaign in Europa League, where they have been placed in a very difficult group.

Les Dogues could only muster a 1-1 draw at home against FK Krasnodar as they came from a goal, behind, meaning that they need to get something from the Wolfsburg clash.

Lille can take some heart from their performances in Ligue 1, where they have again climbed to top 3, leaving the likes of PSG, Lyon and Monaco behind.

However, having seen two more players suffer injuries over the weekend, les Dogues do not look a good bet at 5.25 (17/4) offered at BetVictor.

Marcos Lopes and Jonathan Delaplace are the latest casualties, and the pair was ruled out of the Europa League clash against Wolfsburg.

Important midfielder Marvin Martin and Rio Mavuba are also sidelined, while striker Nolan Roux is not yet ready to return.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Enyeama – Beria, Kjaer, Basa, Souare – Balmond, Gueye – Frey, Rodelin, Mendes – Origi.
