Tottenham vs FiorentinaPremier League giants Tottenham Hotspur will be hoping to make amends for the league defeat to Liverpool when they host Fiorentina in the Europa League first knockout stage.

Meanwhile, Viola finally recorded several good results in a row and they arrive at White Hart Lane in very good spirits.

It is perfectly clear that the Premiership top 4 chase has the priority this season, but the big squad has allowed Spurs to enjoy success in other competitions as well.

Tottenham did really well to qualify for the Capital One Cup final where they will be vying Chelsea for the coveted trophy, while they eased off to the Europa League knockout stages.

Spurs suffered a blow to their Champions League hopes as they were beaten by Liverpool at Anfield, and they can be backed at 2.20 (6/5) to return to winning ways in midweek.

With local derby against West Ham scheduled for Sunday, Mauricio Pochettino is widely expected to ring changes to his starting line-up.

The good news is there are absolutely no selection worries for the Argentine manager, with several star players expected to be rested.

Meanwhile, the likes of Andros Townsend, Paulinho, Roberto Soldado, Federico Fazio and Ben Davies are all tipped to start.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Vorm – Walker, Fazio, Vertonghen, Davies – Stambouli, Paulinho – Townsend, Dembele, Chadli – Soldado.

Just like their next opponents, Fiorentina have struggled to stay close to Champions League positions, but they have recently managed to revive their top 3 hopes.

Back to back wins over Atalanta and Sassuolo saw Viola close the gap behind third-placed Napoli to four points, while 2-0 away win against Roma earned them the Coppa Italia semi-final berth.

And having won last three matches in all competitions, Fiorentina will want to continue the impressive run, with away win paying 3.75 (11/4).

Viola were quite impressive in Europa League this term, that is until the home loss to Dinamo Minsk in the final group game, but the clash at White Hart Lane will be their toughest test yet.

New signings Alessandro Diamanti and Alberto Gilardino are ineligible, but Mohamed Salah is in the squad, together with former Premier League stars Micah Richards and Alberto Aquilani.

Juan Manuel Vargas returns to the squad, while Giuseppe Rossi and Federico Bernardeschi are injured and Ciprian Tatarusanu is doubtful.

Probable starting line-up (3-5-2): Neto – Tomovic, Rodriguez, Savic – Joaquin, Valero, Pizarro, Aquilani, Pasqual – Gomez, Salah.
