West Ham vs Manchester United preview

West Ham have shown massive improvement to finally climb out of the relegation zone, but the Hammers could easily return to the bottom three if they fail to get something from this clash.

Avram Grant’s side have been in impressive form lately, beating Liverpool and Stoke before bringing one point from White Hart Lane and the Hammers are now 2.00 (1/1) not to lose the game at Bodog.

West Ham’s midfield maestro Scott Parker picked up calf and shoulder injuries while on international duty, following an impressive performance against Wales, but we all know it would take much more than that to stop the England international from featuring in this game.

Robbie Keane will be in contention after recovering from injury, but Jack Collison remains sidelined.

Manchester United have already lost 4:0 at Upton Park in the Carling Cup this season and the Red Devils face another tough task.

Sir Alex Ferguson’s side returned to winning ways as they beat Bolton at Old Trafford, but that game showed that United were far from the desired form.

Numerous injuries to the playing squad are making things really difficult, but everybody at the club will be happy to see Nemanja Vidic back to the starting line-up.

Johnny Evans and Paul Scholes miss out through suspension, while John O’Shea and Darren Fletcher are injury doubts. Ji-Sung Park could return to the side, but Rio Ferdinand is still out of contention even if he plans to resume full training this week.

United are 1.80 (4/5) to win the game at 888Sport, but considering the current form of both sides, I don’t see any value in these odds.
