West Ham manager Avram Grant has blasted club director Karren Brady for talking about Steve Sidwell’s aborted move to Upton Park in her newspaper column.

The under-fire boss has started to feel the pressure, although he insists there is no problem between him and Karren Brady.

“We don’t have a problem, but I speak with the owners. I’m dealing with the owners and that is the most important.”

“Maybe I will have a column in a newspaper and say what I think.”

With West Ham still sitting at the Premiership bottom, Grant’s position at Upton Park has come under intense scrutiny, with the Israeli admitting he didn’t have the needed support from the club management.

There are reports that Avram Grant is set to get the boot, while Martin O’Neill is being mentioned as his successor and if the Northern Irishman does get the job, West Ham fans should be more than happy as the former Aston Villa boss definitely has what it takes to save West Ham from relegation.

Therefore, you might want to consider backing West Ham to have more than 39 points at the end of the season, at odds of 2.75 (7/4) offered by Victor Chandler. The odds are the same on West Ham to finish with 36-39 points, while the price on the Hammers to pick up less than 36 points is 2.50 (6/4).
