Saturday afternoon’s game at the Liberty Stadium sees ninth place Swansea City host an Arsenal side hoping to close the gap between themselves and the top four.

Michael Laudrop’s men have been rather inconsistent in the Premier League of late, winning two and losing three of their last five games.

Victory here could see them leapfrog West Bromwich Albion, who beat the Swans last time out, should the Baggies lose at Stoke City.

Leon Britton faces a late fitness test following his hip injury, while Luke Moore should recover from a calf injury in time to feature though Kemy Agustien and Chico Flores are both out.

Michu is joint favourite to open the scoring, and is widely available at 7.0 (6/1), whilst Moore, who has scored his sides last two league goals is 10.0 (9/1) with a variety of firms.

The home win is 3.4 (12/5) with William Hill, with Arsenal favourites at 2.3 (23/10) with Paddy Power. The draw is 3.5 (5/2) with Ladbrokes.

The visitors go in to the game on the back of their 2-0 victory at Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.

The result was not quite enough to send them through to the quarter finals, with a top four finish now there only chance of being involved in next seasons competition.

The Gunners will once again be without Bacary Sagna and Jack Wilshere while Lukas Podolski may also remain side-lined.

Nacho Monreal is set to return at left-back, while Lukasz Fabianski is likely to keep his place in goal with Wojciech Szczesny allegedly mentally fatigued.

Theo Walcott is 7.0 (6/1) to get the first goal of the game, while Oliiver Giroud is a 7.5 (13/2) chance with Coral.

Swansea have won the last two league meetings with the Gunners, though Arsene Wenger’s men came out on top when the sides last met, in their FA Cup third round replay back in January after the initial tie finished 2-2 at the Liberty Stadium.

Six of the last seven goals scored when these sides have met have come in the last ten minutes, and Sporting Bet offer a price of 1.65 (13/20) for another late goal this time around.
