All eyes will be on Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon as Manchester United host Premier League leaders Chelsea.

Louis van Gaal’s men twice came from behind to salvage a draw at West Bromwich Albion on Monday evening and make it seven points from the last nine available, though they are now ten behind their opponents with just eight games played.

Captain Wayne Rooney is still suspended while Angel Di Maria has a thigh injury but should recover in time to feature and Michael Carrick may play some part after making the bench at the Hawthorns.

Radamel Falcao and Robin Van Persie are each priced at 7.5 (13/2) with a variety of firms to get the first goal of the game, with former Blue Juan Mata an 11.0 (10/1) shot with Ladbrokes.

The home win is 3.0 (2/1) with Betfred, with the visitors favourites at 2.60 (8/5) with William Hill while the draw can be backed at 3.60 (13/5) with Bet 365.

Jose Mourinho’s side followed last weekend’s 2-1 win at Crystal Palace by thrashing Slovenian champions Maribor 6-0 in the Champions League on Tuesday evening, stretching their unbeaten run to twelve games in all competitions.

Cezar Azpilicueta is suspended, Loic Remy is out injured and Diego Costa remains doubtful after missing the last two games with a virus and a hamstring problem so Didier Drogba could make his first league start since returning to the club in the summer.

The Ivory Coast striker, who scored midweek, is 9.0 (8/1) to open the scoring with Paddy Power, with Andre Schurrle a 12.0 (11/1) shot with Bet 365.

Manchester United have won just one of their previous eight meetings with Chelsea, with last season’s corresponding fixture ending goalless before the Blues triumphed by three goals to one at Stamford Bridge in January.

With three of the last four clashes seeing a single goal or less, you may be tempted to take advantage of Sporting Bet’s offer of 4.0 (3/1) for there to be under 1.5 this time around, while the 0-0 scoreline is available at a generous 13.0 (12/1) with the same firm.
