Having lost three of their last four league games, Bolton desperately need a win in order to remain in top part of the table, although the Trotters will not have an easy job against Everton.

The Trotters were close to picking up a valuable point from White Hart Lane but ended up losing the game as Niko Kranjcar scored in injury time and they will have something to build on in this match.

Gretar Steinsson remains a doubt with a knee injury, while Jlloyd Samuel has resumed full training after six months on the sidelines, but he is not in contention for this match.

Everton steered clear of the danger zone as they beat Blackpool at Goodison after coming from behind, with Toffees now looking to continue the good run.

Four-goal hero against Blackpool, Louis Saha could be out for up to two weeks with a hamstring injury, while Jack Rodwell faces a month on the sidelines after picking up a groin injury while on international duty.

Bolton and Everton are joint favourites to win the game at Victor Chandler, with home and away win paying 2.75 (7/4), whilst draw is 3.30 (23/10).
