Sunday’s Premier League action kicks off at Villa Park where bottom of the table Aston Villa take on an Arsenal side two points off the top.

The hosts picked up only their second point under Remi Garde last weekend by holding Southampton to a draw but in doing so extended their winless run in the league to fourteen games.

Victory here would not be enough to see them move from the bottom of the table, while defeat could see them end the day as many as ten points from safety.

Jack Grealish could return to the first team having been dropped for two games following his off-field behaviour and Leandro Bacuna and Rudy Gestede are both fit but captain Micah Richards looks set to once again miss out as he struggles with a knee problem.

Gestede is 11.0 (10/1) to open the scoring with Betfair, ahead of Jordan Ayew who is a 12.0 (11/1) chance with Bet 365.

The home win is as highly priced as the 7.0 (6/1) on offer from Coral with the visitors favourites at 1.58 (7/12) with 888 Sport. The draw can be backed at 4.2 (16/5) with a number of firms.

Arsene Wenger’s side are unbeaten in their last four, and go in to this game having booked their place in the knockout stages of the Champions League for a sixteenth season in succession.

Last time out in the league they thumped lowly Sunderland to keep pressure of their title rivals, and another three points here will see them move into first place, with Leicester City not playing champions Chelsea until Monday evening.

The Gunners have no fresh injury worries but remain without seven of their first team squad.

Olivier Giroud, who hit his first hat-trick for the North London club midweek, is favourite to get the first goal here at 4.5 (7/2) with most bookmakers with Theo Walcott a 6.0 (5/1) chance with Bet 365.

Arsenal won all three of the meetings between the sides last season, triumphing 3-0 away and 5-0 at home before winning 4-0 at Wembley in the FA Cup final.

With that in mind, you may be tempted to back an away to nil here at 2.62 (13/8) with Sky Bet.
