Saturday’s Premier League action concludes at the Emirates where Arsenal host fierce rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

The Gunners find themselves in familiar surroundings, sitting in fourth place after taking nine points from their opening five games of the season, and only they and leaders Chelsea are yet to lose.

Their win at Aston Villa was their third in the league so far, though they go in to the North London derby on the back of a 2-1 Capital One Cup third round defeat to Southampton.

Kieran Gibbs and Per Mertesacker could be restored to Arsene Wenger’s starting line-up after only making the bench last time out, with Mathieu Flamini also expected to return but Olivier Giroud, Theo Walcott and Mathieu Debuchy are still some way of a first team comeback.

Danny Welbeck, fresh from opening his Arsenal account a week ago, is favourite to net first at a widely available price of 6.0 (5/1), ahead of 6.5 (11/2) shot Alexis Sanchez.

The home win is a 1.8 (4/5) chance with a variety of firms, with the away win priced at 5.0 (4/1) with Bet 365. The draw is a 4.0 (3/1) shot with Stan James.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men suffered a shock defeat to West Bromwich Albion last time out in the league, but recovered on Wednesday evening with a come-from-behind victory over Championship leaders Nottingham Forest in their Capital One Cup third round tie.

A number of players rested midweek are expected to be recalled for this game, though Kyle Walker remains side-lined with a pelvic injury.

Ex-Gunner Emmanuel Adebayor is widely available at 7.5 (13/2) to open the scoring, with top scorer Nacer Chadli a 16.0 (15/1) chance with Bet Victor.

Arsenal won both league meetings between the sides last season by a goal to nil, with a 2-0 win in the FA Cup third round thrown in to boot.

A Gunners win to nil this time around is worth considering at 3.4 (12/5) with Coral, though with them only having kept one clean sheet in the league so far this season, you may prefer a home win with both teams to score, which is priced at 3.5 (5/2) with the same firm
