Manchester City vs RomaPremier League leaders Manchester City head into the Juventus clash full of confidence, hoping to make the first step towards winning the group of death.

Meanwhile, the Bianconeri continue to struggle, but the Champions League finalists should not be underestimated in spite of their recent problems.

Manchester City have now been placed in arguably the strongest CL group four times in last five years, and the Citizens have been far from impressive in the previous campaigns.

However, this is the year when they are finally showing championship form and they have no reason to fear the likes of Juventus, Sevilla and Borussia M’gladbach.

Having seriously reinforced their ranks over the summer, Manchester City enjoyed a perfect start to the new Premier League campaign, winning all five matches without conceding a single goal.

And seeing as they already boast an 11-point cushion over holders Chelsea, the Citizens can now fully focus on their European exploits.

Considering that their next opponents are going through a very rough patch at the moment, odds of 1.80 (4/5) offered on home win look too good to pass up.

Manager Manuel Pellegrini does have problems ahead of the Juventus game, with Sergio Aguero almost certain to miss out, and the likes of David Silva and Raheem Sterling both rated doubtful.

Pablo Zabaleta and Fabian Delph remain on the sidelines, while Kelechi Iheanacho has not been registered for the competition.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Hart – Sagna, Kompany, Otamendi, Kolarov – Fernandinho, Toure – Navas, De Bruyne, Nasri – Bony.

Juventus have done well to re-establish domination in Italian Serie A over the years, but they were desperate for some European success as well.

The Bianconeri finally earned the opportunity to fight for the Champions League title as they reached the final last term, albeit eventually losing to mighty Barcelona.

Juventus have since seen key players Carlos Tevez and Andrea Pirlo leave the club and while they signed a host of quality footballers, the team have largely struggled in the opening exchanges.

Three games into the new Serie A campaign and the Old Lady are still searching for their first win, with weekend’s draw vs Chievo considered a progress following defeats to Udinese and Roma.

With that in mind, this is definitely not the right time to be facing red-hot Manchester City, so no wonder away win pays 5.50 (9/2).

Just as he returned into action, Claudio Marchisio suffered a new thigh injury that rules him out of the clash at Etihad, whilst Sami Khedira and Kwadwo Asamoah remain in the infirmary.

Probable starting line-up (3-5-2): Buffon – Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini – Lichtsteiner, Pereyra, Sturaro, Pogba, Evra – Mandzukic, Dybala.
