Porto vs BaselFC Porto are in the driving seat following the 1-1 draw at St Jakob-Park, but the Dragons go into the return match without top scorer Jackson Martinez.

This is something that in-form FC Basel will be looking to exploit, with the Swiss winning last three matches in all competitions.

Having last reached Champions League quarter-finals back in 2009, FC Porto are determined to end the barren run this season and they seem to be in a good position to make it to the last eight.

After winning their group, the Dragons were handed a favourable draw, and they in turn held FC Basel to a 1-1 draw in the first leg.

FC Porto are now priced at 1.50 (1/2) to win the return match, but that is not going to be an easy task now that Jackson Martinez is unavailable.

The Colombian striker suffered a thigh injury against Sporting Braga and was later ruled out of the FC Basel game.

With Adrian Lopez also sidelined, chances are Vincent Aboubakar will start as a lone striker, with Tello and Brahimi deployed on the wings.

The good news is that the talented midfielder Oliver Torres has recovered from injury and he is expected to start on Tuesday evening.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Fabiano – Danilo, Maicon, Marcano, Sandro – Herrera, Casemiro, Torres – Tello, Aboubakar, Brahimi.

Champions League’s perennial overachievers have stayed true to the tradition, pipping mighty Liverpool to a place in the last 16 stage.

FC Basel were then drawn alongside FC Porto in the first knockout round, and while they took the lead through Derlis Gonzalez, the Swiss giants had to settle for a 1-1 draw as Danilo scored a late penalty for the Dragons.

Paulo Sousa’s charges have since lost to Young Boys before recording wins over Vaduz, Munsingen and Thun, but they will have much bigger fish to fry at Estadio do Dragao.

And having failed to win any of their last five Champions League fixtures on the road, it is hardly surprising FC Basel are 4.50 (7/2) to qualify.

Important defender Marek Suchy misses out through suspension, while fellow stopper Ivan Ivanov is a long-term casualty.

Fabian Schar returns after he was suspended for the first leg, and he will be partnered by veteran defender Walter Samuel.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Vaclik – T. Xhaka, Samuel, Schar, Safari – El Nenny, F. Frei – Gonzalez, Zuffi, Gashi – Streller.
