Bayern vs RomaFresh from the outstanding 4-0 win over Real Madrid in El Clasico, Barcelona will attempt to secure the first place in their Champions League group with another triumph.

AS Roma made a giant step to the next stage with a 3-2 victory over Bayer Leverkusen, but they still sit just one point above the Germans in the standings.

Barcelona did not experience too many problems in the Champions League group stage, sharing spoils with the Giallorossi in Italy and winning the remaining three fixtures.

As a result, they head into the final two games five points clear of the Italian giants, meaning that even one point from this match would see them qualify from the first position.

Meanwhile, the Catalans have just edged closer to yet another La Liga trophy having hammered Real Madrid 4-0 at Santiago Bernabeu.

Even with Leo Messi not fit to start, Barcelona completely outclassed their bitter rivals and deservedly recorded a very important win.

And with Luis Enrique’s charges now brimming with confidence, it is hardly surprising they have been made 1.30 (3/10) favourites to defeat AS Roma as well.

Luis Enrique will be tempted to rest some of his star players against the Giallorossi, while the good news is that Javier Mascherano has escaped a muscle injury.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Bravo – Alves, Pique, Mathieu, Alba – Roberto, Busquets, Iniesta – Munir, Suarez, Neymar.

AS Roma have shown signs of improvement this term and it would appear as though they are capable of matching Europe’s top sides, but the lack of consistency has proved to be a problem.

While they are still very much in the Serie A title chase in spite of weekend’s draw with Bologna, the Giallorossi are also in good position top qualify for the Champions League knockout stages.

AS Roma recovered well from the shock defeat to BATE Borisov to take four points from the double-header against Bayer Leverkusen, ensuring they head into the final two fixtures one point in front of the Germans.

But, with die Werkself now facing the Belarus side, the Giallorossi need to try and get something from the Barcelona clash.

Things are not looking too good at the moment, due to the fact that Mohamed Salah, Gervinho, Francesco Totti and Kevin Strootman are all out injured.

The good news is that Daniele De Rossi could return from an adductor problem, seeing that Rudi Garcia did not want to risk him at the weekend.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Szczesny – Maicon, Manolas, Rudiger, Digne – Nainggolan, De Rossi, Pjanic – Florenzi, Dzeko, Iturbe.
