Sevilla vs AtleticoGiven that even the eighth-placed side in La Liga could qualify for Europe, Sevilla will have plenty of motived when they faced revived Atletico Madrid, who recorded a 5-0 victory over Granada to prove they are still very much in the race for the second place in the standings.

Difficult financial situation and the uncertainty surrounding the future of key players have had a negative effect on team’s performances, with los Rojiblancos struggling to climb to the top half of the league table.

They have been showing a lot of improvement under Unai Emery, but it remains if that will prove enough for European qualification.

Sevilla missed a chance to virtually secure European football having lost to Atletico Madrid in the Copa del Rey semi-finals and this is a perfect opportunity for them to get revenge on los Colchoneros.

After playing really well in their last two league fixtures, los Rojiblancos are 2.50 (3/2) at William Hill to see off their more illustrious opponents.

Sevilla could have recorded a rare away victory last weekend as they were three goals up in Derbi sevillano, but they allowed their bitter rivals to score three goals and had to settle for one point.

Gary Medel saw a red card against Real Betis that has earned him a two-match ban, while Federico Fazio is also banned.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Beto – Coke, Cala, Botia, Moreno – Maduro, Kondogbia – Navas, Rakitic, Reyes – Negredo.

Atletico Madrid may be enjoying one of the most successful seasons in club’s recent history, but everybody at the club is aware the job is not finished yet.

Los Colchoneros still face two tough battles with arch rivals Real Madrid, one in the Copa del Rey final and the other for the second place in the La Liga standings.

The hectic schedule had started to get to Diego Simeone’s men at the beginning of March, with his side winning just one of six fixtures in all competitions, but Atletico returned to winning ways in style.

The 5-0 victory over Granada was just what the team needed ahead of the season finale and league matches against Sevilla and Real Madrid.

With Atletico players feeling refreshed after the busy schedule eased up, there may be some value in betting on away win, at odds of 3.00 (2/1) offered at Stan James.

Key midfielders Gabi and Mario return from injury and suspension respectively, but Arda Turan and Tiago Mendes remain sidelined.

Probable starting line-up (4-4-2): Courtois – Juanfran, Miranda, Godin, Filipe Luis – Koke, Mario, Gabi, Rodriguez – Falcao, Diego Costa.
