Palermo vs NapoliNapoli appear to have said goodbye to the Serie A title by losing to Inter Milan, but they need to defeat Bologna to improve their chances of finishing as runners-up.

Felsinei couldn’t build on a 1-1 draw with AS Roma, as they lost to Torino to extend the winless run to eight Serie A matches.

Despite performing above expectations for large periods of the current campaign, Napoli have failed to challenge for the Serie A trophy, meaning this will go down as yet another disappointing season.

While the narrow defeat to rivals Juventus in Turin was costly, it was the 3-1 loss to Udinese that put the final nail in the Azzurri’s coffin.

And not only because they suffered a disappointing defeat, but also due to the fact that top scorer Gonzalo Higuain earned a three-match ban in the process.

Without the Argentine, Napoli were beaten by Inter Milan and with Juventus now nine points clear at the top, it is clear the Azzurri will not be lifting the coveted title this time out.

Napoli still need to secure the second place in the standings and automatic Champions League berth, and they can be backed at 1.25 (1/4) to see off struggling Bologna.

Gonzalo Higuain serves the final game of his three-match ban, while David Lopez and Faouzi Ghoulam should be recalled.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Reina – Hysaj, Albiol, Koulibaly, Ghoulam – Lopez, Jorginho, Hamsik – Callejon, Gabbiadini, Mertens.

Bologna do not appear to be in danger of getting relegated, but they do need to show improvement if they want to avoid a nervy finish to the campaign.

Felsinei did pretty well in the first part of the season, climbing to top table positions, but they suffered a major dip in form midway through February.

Three successive goalless draws were followed by five more games in which Bologna failed to record a win, losing four of those and only sharing spoils with AS Roma.

Following the home defeat to Torino, Felsinei sit seven points clear of the relegation zone, but they obviously cannot afford to relax just yet.

Selection problems continue to mount for coach Roberto Donadoni, with Godfred Donsah, Mattia Destro, Anthony Mounier, Archimede Morleo and Franco Zuculini all out injured.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Mirante – Oikonomou, Rossettini, Maietta, Constant – Taider, Diawara, Brienza – Rizzo, Floccari, Giaccherini.
