Villarreal came close to shocking Real Madrid at the Bernabeu having twice been in front, but the Yellow Submarine allowed los Merengues to get back into the game and ended up losing 4:2.

Boss Juan Carlo Garrido was angry with the referees as he believes they helped Real win the game.

“I’ve seen two offsides in the same attack. It was a decisive move. Di Maria played or at least intended to play the ball with his head while being in an offside position.”

“The referee has been biased and officiated the game with a fear of failure against Real Madrid and no fear of Villarreal. We deserve the same respect.”

Villarreal remained in third place despite the defeat and considering their performances this season, nobody should be surprised if they stay there come end of the season.

With that in mind, you should know Bet365 pays 2.10 (11/10) if Villarreal finish just behind Barca and Real.
