Having just secured the Liga Sagres title, Porto are hoping to keep the rich vein of form and come one step closer to the Europa League trophy, although Spartak are definitely not the team they can afford to underestimate.

The Dragons have already eliminated one Russian team from the competition, after recording double victory over CSKA and they are now 1.33 (1/3) at Paddy Power to make it to the semi-finals.

The hosts enter this match high on confidence, having won their last seven games in all competitions and with no new injuries to report, Andre Villas-Boas should field the same side that started the Benfica game.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Helton – Pereira, Rolando, Otamendi, Fucile – Fernando, Guarin, Moutinho – Varela, Falcao, Hulk.

Spartak Moscow made it to the Europa League quarter-finals after the shock 4:0 aggregate victory over Ajax, although their showings on domestic stage are not nearly as impressive as their European performances.

Spartak lost to Rostov and Kuban in their last two away games, conceding seven goals in the process, meaning that coach Valery Karpin has reason to worry before the trip to Portugal.

The hosts face doubts over first choice keeper Andrey Dikan, who has just recovered from a bout of flu, while Zhano Ananidze is likely to miss out through injury.

Probable starting line-up (4-4-1-1): Dikan – K. Kombarov, Rojo, Suchy, Makeev – McGeady, Ibson, Rafael Carioca, D. Kombarov – Alex – Wellington.

There is a good value in backing Porto to win at 1.44 (4/9) offered by 888Sport especially considering Spartak’s latest results in Russian Premier League, so it is little wonder the Russians are 9.00 (8/1) to win the game at William Hill.
