After winning the Bundesliga title in style last term, Jurgen Klopp’s side encountered numerous problems at the start of new season as they just couldn’t compete successfully on both domestic and European stage.

As soon as their Champions League campaign finished, BVB started showing massive improvement in Bundesliga and managed to leapfrog fierce rivals Bayern Munich in the standings.

The 4-4 home draw with Stuttgart allowed the Bavarians to narrow the gap to just three points, but Borussia remain hot favourites for the league title, with Sportingbet paying 1.75 (3/4) on the Millionaires.

Being three points clear of their rivals with just five games to go, the hosts would be more than happy with one point from this match, but they will, nonetheless, try to win the game and virtually secure the league title.

Mario Goetze is not yet ready to return into action, whereas Florian Kringe remains long-term casualty.

Team’s Champions League campaign is progressing nicely as they are set to face Real Madrid in the semi-finals, whereas the five-match winning run allowed them to return to the title race on domestic stage.

Jupp Heynckes’s side are aware they will have to beat Borussia in Dortmund in order to keep their title hopes alive and Bayern are 2.80 (9/5) with BetVictor to do so.

Bayern may have won 15 of 17 home games this season, but the Millionaires were one of the two sides that claimed maximum points at Alianz Arena.

Bastian Schweinsteiger completed full 90 minutes against Augsburg and could start this match as well, but Daniel Van Buyten and Breno are out of contention.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Neuer – Lahm, Boateng, Badstuber, Alaba – Luis Gustavo, Schweinsteiger – Muller, Kroos, Ribery – Gomez.
