Sevilla vs HNK RijekaEuropa League holders have yet to secure their place in the first knockout stage, although they only need to avoid defeat in the final fixture to continue their title defence.

HNK Rijeka, on the other hand, are the clear underdogs here, but they will qualify for the next stage if they can win at Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

After impressing to lift the Europa League trophy and finish in fifth place in La Liga last term, Sevilla did well to continue the rich vein of form.

Los Rojiblancos are now genuine top 4 contenders in the league, and currently sit four points clear of fifth-placed Valencia, but the new EL campaign hasn’t gone according to plan.

Failure to beat HNK Rijeka and Standard Liege on the road, as well as the 2-0 loss at De Kuip mean that los Rojiblancos are just one point clear of the Croatian side ahead of the final round of fixtures.

But, having won eight of last nine home fixtures, Sevilla look a good bet at 1.30 (3/10) to extend the run against HNK Rijeka.

Unai Emery is sweating over the fitness of key midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak, although the player himself is adamant he will be fit to face Rijeka.

The boss has no other injury worries, although full-back Benoit Tremoulinas is not yet ready to return from injury.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Beto – Coke, Pareja, Carrico, Navarro – M’Bia, Krychowiak – Deulofeu, Suarez, Vitolo – Gameiro.

HNK Rijeka did well to establish themselves as the strongest Croatian side after Dinamo Zagreb and they have shown a great deal of promise this season.

Up until recently, the team were vying their more illustrious rivals for the league title, although weekend’s 3-0 loss at Maksimir was seen as a major setback.

Meanwhile, HNK Rijeka have been pretty impressive in Europe, taking seven points from five games in what is a very strong group.

And even though they are regarded as major underdogs, it is important to note that the Whites can be backed at 12.00 (11/1) to record the win they need to qualify.

The visitors will be heavily relying on striker Andrej Kramaric, one of Europe’s most sought-after players, who has bagged impressive 28 goals in 29 competitive appearances this season.

Coach Matjaz Kek has no fresh injury worries, but forwards Ivan Krstantovic and Ermin Zec remain sidelined through injury.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Vargic – Tomecak, Mitrovic, Leskovic, Leovac – Jajalo, Mocinic – Jugovic, Moises, Sharbini – Kramaric.
