Reports in England and France claim that West Ham and Lyon are locked in the battle for Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud.

The Frenchman doesn’t appear to be happy with the current status at the Emirates and he may decide to quit the Gunners this summer.

According to Le 10 Sport, Giroud could be included in the deal taking Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette to the Emirates as les Gones are keen on the 30-year-old footballer.

Les Gones want around £60 million for their star player, but they are ready to accept player plus cash deal that would see Giroud move to Parc OL.

At the same time, West Ham are also showing interest in the France international, with the Hammers hoping to avoid another disappointing campaign.

Olivier Giroud managed 12 Premier League goals last term despite starting mere 11 games, but he remains the first choice striker for Les Bleus and has so far scored 3 goals in 4 World Cup qualifiers.
