Wednesday evening’s action from Vicarage Road sees Watford host Premier League champions Chelsea.

The Hornets have won three of their last five games in all competitions, including Saturday’s 1-0 win over Championship side Nottingham Forest in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

They currently sit in tenth place in the league, and victory here would see them move up to seventh place, just five points off the top five.

Mario Suarez could make his debut for Quique Florres’ side after completing his switch from Fiorentina while Jose Hoelbas could come in at left back as Nathan Ake is ineligible to face his parent club.

Odion Ighalo, who bagged his fifteenth goal of the season with the winner at the weekend, is 7.5 (13/2) to open the scoring with a variety of firms ahead of 9.0 (8/1) chance Troy Deeney.

The home win is as highly priced as the 4.55 (39/11) on offer from 888 Sport, with the visitors favourites at 1.95 (19/20) with Bet Victor. The draw is a 3.6 (13/5) shot with Bet 365.

Blues boss Guus Hiddink is unbeaten since returning to Stamford Bridge, and that run began with a 2-2 draw against today’s opponents back on Boxing Day.

Despite not yet losing under the Dutchman, Chelsea are seventeen points off the top four, and just seven points above the bottom three.

Kurt Zouma and Cesar Azpilicueta could both return after being rested for Sunday’s FA Cup fourth round win over MK Dons though Willian is doubtful, along with new signing Alexandre Pato who is short of fitness following his move from Sao Paulo.

Top scorer Diego Costa is favourite to get the first goal of the game at 5.25 (17/4) with Stan James, while Eden Hazard is a 9.0 (8/1) chance with a number of firms.

Four of the last six meetings between the sides have seen four or more goals, and you can back that outcome her at 4.3 (33/10) with 888 Sport, while Betfair offer 2.05 (21/20) for both teams to score.
