Wednesday evening’s match at White Hart Lane will see Tottenham Hotspur attempt to bounce back from their League Cup final disappointment against Swansea City.

The hosts saw their winless run extended to five games in all competitions with defeat to Chelsea at Wembley on Sunday, and they will be keen to not lose any further ground in the race for a top four spot against a side who side just one place and four points below them in the table.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino has no injury concerns, though he is likely to rotate his squad for this, the clubs seventh game in twenty-six games.

Mousa Dembele, Erik Lamela and former Swans full-back Ben Davies are among those pushing for recalls to the Spurs starting line-up.

Top scorer Harry Kane, who has eight goals in his last seven appearances, is favourite to open the scoring at 5.0 (4/1) with Betfair, while Christian Eriksen is a 7.5 (13/2) chance with a variety of firms.

The home win is widely available at 1.75 (3/4), with the visitors as highly priced as the 5.5 (9/2) on offer from Betfred. The draw can be backed at 3.8 (14/5) with a number of bookmakers.
Swansea followed their impressive win against Manchester United the weekend before last with victory at Burnley on Saturday, moving them up to eighth place.

Three points here would see them move to within one of their opponents while a failure to win would give both West Ham United and Stoke City the opportunity to leapfrog them.

Gylfi Sigurdsson misses out against his former employers with a hamstring problem while Kyle Bartley is Garry Monk’s only other absentee with both not set to return until next month.

Bafetimbi Gomis is 10.0 (9/1) to get the first goal of the game with Coral, while Jonjo Shelvey can be backed at 15.0 (14/1).

Tottenham have won the last six meetings between the sides, with four of those victories coming with both teams scoring in the game so you may be tempted to back that outcome this time around at 3.6 (13/5) with William Hill.
