Saturday’s Premier League action kicks off at Old Trafford where Manchester United take on Liverpool.

The hosts go into the game in second place, two points ahead of their opponents having come from two goals down to beat Crystal Palace last time out.

A win here would not only see Jose Mourinho’s men tighten their grip in the runners-up spot but also see them go ahead of their North West rivals on goal difference.

Marouane Fellaini could make a return to the United first team after recovering from a knee injury while the game may come to soon for Eric Bailly, and Anthony Martial, Daley Blind, Marcos Rojo, Ander Herrera and Phil Jones are all likely to be sidelined.

Romelu Lukaku is priced at 6.0 (5/1) to open the scoring ahead of 7.5 (13/2) chance Alexis Sanchez.

The home win can be backed at 2.75 (7/4) with Betfred with the visitors available at the same price with Unibet. The draw is a 3.4 (12/5) chance with Befair.

Jurgen Klopp’s side are currently unbeat in five league games, winning four of those fixtures and will leapfrog their opponents with another win here.

Three points will also see them move ten ahead of Chelsea in fifth place, with the Blues facing Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge in the day’s late kick-off.

Andrew Robertson has recovered from the knock that kept him out of the midweek Champions League draw with Porto while Jordan Henderson could feature despite suffering a dead leg in that fixture and Georginio Wijnaldum is also available.

Top scorer Mo Salah is favourite to get the first goal of the game at 6.0 (5/1) with Unibet ahead of 7.0 (6/1) chance Roberto Firmino.

The two sides played out a goalless draw in the reverse fixture at Anfield back in October – the fourth straight draw between the sides in all competitions.

Each of those games had fewer than three goals so you may be tempted to back that to be the outcome this time around at 1.91 (10/11) with a number of firms while Paddy Power offer 1.73 (8/11) for both teams to score.
