Sunday’s Premier League concludes at the John Smith’s Stadium where Huddersfield Town take on runaway leaders Manchester City.

The hosts were thumped 4-0 at Bournemouth last time out but head into the weekend in the top half largely thanks to their home form.

They have won their last two home games having beaten both Manchester United and West Bromwich Albion while their only defeat in front of their home fans came at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur back in September.

Manager David Wagner could include centre-back Christopher Schindler who returns following suspension while Jonathan Hogg is also in contention for selection after missing out last weekend due to him attending the birth of his son.

Steve Mounie is 15.0 (14/1) to open the scoring with Betfred, with former Manchester City man Aaron Mooy a 29.0 (28/1) chance with Bet 365.

The home win is as highly priced as the 17.0 (16/1) on offer from a number of firms with the visitors odds on favourites at 1.19 (3/16) with Unibet. The draw is widely available at 7.5 (13/2).

Pep Guardiola’s men secured a tenth straight Premier League victory last time out, easing past 2016 champions Leicester City and another triumph here would see them equal a club record while they would also become the first team to take thirty-seven points from their opening thirteen matches.

Nicolas Otamendi is set to return from suspension and could replace John Stones who hurt his hamstring last weekend while a number of players, such as Leroy Sane, David Silva and Vincent Kompany are set to be recalled after being rested for the midweek Champions League clash with Feyenord.

Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus can each be backed at 3.7 (27/10) to get the first goal of the game with Sporting Bet, with Kevin De Bruyne a 8.5 (15/2) chance with Unibet.

This is the first league meeting between these two sides since they faced each other in the second tier seventeen and a half years ago – a game that ended 1-1.

City did win 5-1 when they clashed in the FA Cup last season though that was in a replay after the original tie had ended goalless.

The league leaders have scored five or more in a third of their league games so far this season and can be backed at 6.0 (5/1) with Sky Bet to do so here.
