Alexis Sanchez looks set to stay with Manchester United for the foreseeable future, with potential suitors having dropped their interest in the Chilean according to reports.

Jose Mourinho’s Red Devils only signed Sanchez in January from Arsenal, in a deal that saw Henrikh Mhkitaryan depart for the Emirates Stadium. However, the 29-year-old has come under fire for under-par displays with the Old Trafford outfit. Since signing for the club, he has only scored four goals in all competitions, including only one so far this season.

It was reported that Mourinho was keen to offload the forward, with Sanchez himself also looking for an exit from the club. Paris Saint Germain were previously reported admirers. However, according to the Independent, the French giants have completely dropped their interest with their attacking options already extremely strong at the Parc de Princes.

Sanchez still has some time to run on his contract at Old Trafford. He is only ten months into his originally penned four-year deal which is set to expire in the summer of 2022.

Despite his poor form in the league so far this season, the 29-year-old can still be backed to be named top Premier League goalscorer. He has odds of 125/1 with bookmakers Paddy Power placed on him.
