Yaya ToureHaving been left out of the Manchester City’s Champions League squad, the veteran midfielder Yaya Toure is already contemplating a January move away from the Etihad stadium.

The experienced 33-year-old Ivory Coast enforcer is deemed surplus to requirements at City under new boss Pep Guardiola, and with Toure in the final year of his contract, his representative Dimitri Seluk has started lining up deals and offers for the player.

Toure will be allowed to sign a pre-contract agreement with clubs in January and his agent expects multiple offers.

“He will have many offers from clubs. China and America of course, they want him, but we will have a lot of offers from England and Europe”, Seluk told Daily Mail.

Yaya Toure is yet to feature for Manchester City in the Premier League this season and Pep Guardiola did not have even have the courtesy to tell the Ivorian that he is not in his plans for the ongoing campaign.

Toure’s agent still insists that the African player is a professional and that he would not stop fighting for his place in the squad.

Pep Guardiola and Yaya Toure worked together in Barcelona prior to Toure’s £24 million transfer to England in 2010, but the two of them parted ways in not the best terms possible. With Guardiola’s arrival to Manchester City it was always clear that Toure would not be featuring in his plans at the Etihad.

With the Ivory Coast star not even on the bench in the new Premier League season, Manchester City got off to a flying start in the new season winning all three Premier League games and securing the Champions League group stage after a 6-0 aggregate win over Romanian giants Steaua Bucuresti.

The Citizens are looking at the betting odds of 2.5 (6/4) @ BetFair to be crowned Premier League champions this season, but Yaya Toure is apparently not going to be a part of their title chasing campaign.

Toure has played 226 games and scored 75 goals in all competitions for Manchester City, winning two Premier League titles, one FA Cup title, two Football Leagu Cups and one Community Shield in six years he has spent with the Citizens.
